The smaller six is probably okay, but 2.8/3.0 are more likely.

Mine tore up, and it is not an M. Granted, I autocross mine a lot (well, I did until I put it on jackstands to repair the trunk floor).
All of this. My Z3 w/ the 2.8 is a lot of fun, but that’s because it has a great power band for the weight and good torque. It wouldn’t be as fun with the 4. Interior falls apart too easily, though. It’s the unfortunate combination of being a convertible (more exposed to the elements) and sub-par materials.
If it was a 2.8l or 3.0l, this would be a nice price for a clean Z3. With the 4-cylinder, it’s not worth that much. With the six, it’s a fun car. With the 4, it’s slower than a Miata, but with all of the negatives of a BMW. Plus, the interior on Z3's is crap - fall apart worse than most BMW’s.
I did not realize they sold the better version overseas. Unfortunately, it might as well not exist, since we cannot have them. Makes this sting more. Same with the 540iT (which would be fun to get to replace my E39 540iT).
Man, I love the look of that car, but I am a sucker for wagons.
That’s the problem I have with any new service. If I’m paying for a subscription service, I better be able to watch it on my TV without going through extraordinary means (granted things have gotten a lot better than they used to be). I guess as long as I can watch it via my Roku, I’m good.
I meant that they should be added to the list of throwing money at them to make it to 200k .
Add BMW to that list. Lots of E36's, E46's, and E39's out there around the 200k mark. My wife’s E53 just hit that point (my E39 is going to hit 250k soon).
This is very true. A lot of the things that become the most frustrating issues (i.e. German electrical gremlins) are things that die from age and not from mileage.
This. The daughter, her friend, and the next door neighbor kid are the only really sympathetic characters in the movie. Wonder if that was the point - showing how the selfish acts of the parents were messing with their kids. At least that’s what I remember, it has been a while since I watched it.
Dear God that is gorgeous. I love this!
No, I am not excited about this. It is the same BS BMW does with their cars. In America, manuals are no longer about cheapskates looking to shave a few bucks off of a car, especially on halo or higher end models. It’s more likely a car enthusiast that is looking for the driving experience of a manual and they are…
Came here to post this - my kids have watched too much of that Vampirina show that I couldn’t read Vamperonica without reading it interchangeably.
That is still good advice.
Gran Turismo Sport is the best looking version of the Panamera. I look forward to Mercedes take on it.
I am looking forward to this season of Jessica Jones (more excited for Luke Cage), but it does seem like Netflix really can’t figure out how many episodes of a show they really need to order. Maybe trim the Marvel stuff down to 10 a season and bump Voltron up to 10. That’d make me happy.
That compensation package for Musk is a tricky question. While it is certainly a lot of money, it is tied to some really aggressive goals.
This is the story I’m looking forward to this year. I’m really worried that McLaren is the problem and not their engine suppliers.
$40k for starting price is the likely price (I think $35k is the smart spot). It’s better than a 370Z (who should be its competition on paper) and would be closer to a loaded Mustang GT. And they have to space it a bit from the 86. If it is up by the Corvette/GT350/M2/718, it’s a really hard sell.
