This really is our Titanic!

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

Oddly enough, the new CX-9 is on the list for us to look at in the future. My wife doesn’t seemed thrilled with it’s looks either and we’ll probably end up in an X5 with third row anyway, but I’m going to cast a wider net and do a bunch of test drives.

Is there anyone that does a Rally recap like they used on have on Speed back in the day? A 30 minute video summary of the day’s rally would be appreciated.

Yeah, that President is pretty cool. I’m not a fan of RHD for American roads, but that car is cool enough to make me take a look.

They’re working to keep Lagertha around.

I still can’t believe how dull that battle was. It just felt like it dragged on pointlessly with some silly, over the top gore thrown in. The dialogue was painful - this really was the worst episode and highlighted how much Ragnar is needed.

I’m trying to figure out the hatred for this. Here is where this car works: the sympathetic enthusiast’s wife. My wife likes sitting up high, needs room for busing the kids around, but she likes performance. We are comfortably middle class, so an X5M is off the table (even used - maintenance is awful on it).

My wife drives an X5 and I drive a 540iT. While the X5 is a little wider inside, the wagon has more trunk length (it appears most CUV’s suffer from this, but I don’t know if this holds true for newer wagons). Also, with it lower to the ground, it is easier to load our dogs in the back of the wagon than the X5. It’s

Wonder how much more work it was using a Raptor instead of a regular F-150 (like an FX-2). What did they gain by using a Raptor (besides internet buzz)?

I am okay with GM making more of those awful commercials as long as we get more Mahk commercial parodies.

My wife and I thought it blew up when we were watching the launch from our house. It didn’t look right when it was supposed to separate. Maybe it was just because it was such a cool, clear night, but it definitely did not go as planned.

No point in redesigning them now, warranties are up and it would have been a bit of egg on their face if they admitted they had an issue.

My mechanic friend isn’t a huge fan of the 550i. Not sure why, but the way he reacted to my possible purchase of one, might as well get an M5.

Needless to say, he put in the upgraded bearings when he replaced the engine. I’ll do the same when I pick up an E46 M3 next year (don’t care that it isn’t the fastest or best, it’s a car I have wanted forever).

I drove my friend’s M6 and even with the SMG, it was pretty intoxicating. He let me drive it when I needed a ride home from selling my E39 M5 (which was mostly reliable minus a fuel pump), so it was almost back to back.

Man, it highlights the big, wagon shaped hole in my heart between the E34 and E61. Time to cruise the internet for a S62 that I don’t have money for....

This still bugs me. How can this be?

This is true. My oldest (5) wanted a Lego Deathstar since he could talk. No way I was putting out $500 for it, especially since he is so young. Thankfully, it had been out for a while and the Chinese had made an excellent copy of one. $130 and a month later, and it was sitting in our house. He loves it and uses it

My kids are old enough to be into these toy fads, but so far, they seem immune to them. Just get them some Star Wars Legos and all is good. I worry that my days are numbered on this...
