Utterly useless aside from the 90% of cases that it helps. Even if 10% remain, the rate of new infections will drop, which means the over all cost of managing the care of the people who have the disease will drop which is good for everyone.

Fair points. But I don't think anyone was trying to kill anyone there. That folding chair probably weighs about 3 pounds and sure the belt will add some damage to a punch but the scenario you're proposing doesn't seem very likely.

You may need a little refresher on what constitutes causation but I'll let you be the judge of that. I've come down with a case of opinionitis today. I'm going to attempt not to spread it any further ;)
