IHMO, a NAS is an expensive and risky way to add storage. Just read some reviews of some of these NAS devices. I can understand the attraction, especially if you’re a laptop only family, but for the cost I’ve never thought it was worth it.

PhD candidate in Machine Learning here. We review for a major journal and have seen an uptick in the rejection on papers that come through for review. The papers make good “sense” or are great ideas, but the experiments are flawed and bad science.

I wish people would talk about this more.  All I see today is repeats of stuff from when I was a kid, bullies allowed to run around unchecked but when the victim decides they’ve had enough suddenly they’re the problem and there needs to be a dialogue to hear both sides.
