Get someone in the organization to start a “knowledge base”, even just a shard folder with MS Word documents. Now, every time I answer a question in email, I also include a link to a nicely written (by me) wiki page which goes through exactly the thing they are asking.

Unfortunately, that may not be always beneficial all around. I was spending as much time teaching people how to do shit on Unix as I was doing my own research. I honestly could not spend any stretch of time in the computer room undisturbed.

Looks like a Zink printer, as opposed to the OneStep 2 which uses actual Polaroid film.

I was consistent with 2 languages for about 3 months. Then I entered a busy patch for a few weeks. I didn’t pick it back up.

Especially significant in Chinese restaurants in the US: most will use traditional characters.

Given that it has a 1.9s 0-60mph, I’d say they have the acceleration part of that sports equation covered. Google tells me the best 0-60mph time of a production car is the Porsche 918 Spyder at 2.2s.

Habanos or bust. GTFO with this Gurkha shit.

Ah, still haven’t grown a pair, I see.

It certainly works better than standing to poop before sitting to pee.

I agree that lumping it together is better. With separate sick time, if you don’t get sick that time is lost.

Yeah, this was their top of the line RPN non-graphics calculator. It’s awesome. I should have bought one when they were current. They’re going for ridiculous prices on eBay.

Across vast portions of the world, people go barefoot all the time. They usually have some foot-washing thing (big urn of water, say) outside their front door. “Bare feet only in private spaces” is a cultural norm. And feet in flipflops are basically bare feet.

Yeah, this is just stupid “Western”/American cultural bias. These are people who wear their dirty shoes in he house.

The same people who put their shod feet up on coffee tables in homes. Or on the tables at cafes.

Grow a pair. They’re just feet.

I use it all the time. I hate to switch tabs: I mostly use a Chromebook without an external monitor. So, I can just look aside to my phone and see the number. I’ve just learnt to type slowly when using the app. It’s within easy reach (just a swipe up from bottom), and that’s the biggest plus for me.

It’s the old HP color scheme (for at least some of their devices):

Calcbot2 is my current choice. But for convenience, I just type slow.

You’re gonna love Abcde.
