And yes, Gao DID lie to Danny before. That was her big introduction. In at least 2 episodes Danny said out loud "Gao lied to me". So, Gao putting Colleen in her place with the excuse of honesty, and no one pushing back, is depressingly current.

I know writing tv is hard, but at some point in a 13 hour-long episode series, the hero has to stop believing at face value whatever the known villains say.

But Danny looks good in this ep, tho.

Some dialog between Danny and Colleen seemed put together by interns scrambling note cards from the writers. "But I haven't asked you how are you doing?" in the middle of escaping. It sometimes seems like a parody.

Well, it is very delicious… and equally demeaning.
