Lately I’ve been really into grill-panning asparagus with cherry tomatoes, diced scallions over all. So good.

Yeah, actually now that you mention it there can be a good bit of smoke. I try to keep things on medium heat to avoid that and oil up the meat/veg to lessen the smoke. I do have a hood but if you have nothing a grill pan maybe isn’t the best way to go. Dang!

What about a grill pan? You still get the good marks and it somehow tastes better than a regular sautee.
