I’m sure. I’ve seen it. My infotainment unit displays information about it (charge level etc.). In fact, it has been available in european MX-5s since 2016. It was even in the model name back then. Here’s one on Mazda Germany’s own used car sales page (“Mazda MX-5 Roadster SKYACTIV-G 160 i-ELOOP”):

Nah, this isn’t new on european MX-5s. I got mine in May 2019 and it has this system.

Your pic shows a 9000 though. The newest 9-3 doesn't even have a hatchback.
