That curvy thing Ravi was throwing could clear some space too.

At first read I thought Rob Zombie was making it. This is better.

Nintendo Dodgeball. My money's on Japan or India.

That's a bit like adding bombs to the OK Corral shootout. They work, but do we need them?

My first question when their story was rejected was "why would they make this up?" My second question was "why didn't these dumbasses get robbed?"

Directing the In-laws buys you a lot of wiggle room though.

I still think 2 is better without 1.

Most of those issues can be handled by just checking in once in a while. Do you like this? Am I being obnoxious? Now and then you'll get someone who is turned off by these questions and wants someone more assured or spontaneous, but there are plenty of guys like that out there to accommodate them.

I've seen a few episodes on Youtube. It has some good moments in it, and good acting. Julian Barratt's characters stood out particularly for me.

Well my mother picked up the same flesh-eating stuff during knee surgery in Florida, so risk/reward… actually Rio Branco sucked, diseases or no.

Belém is worth a hundred West Virginias though. The rest of Pará is pretty much West Virginia with better fishing.

I think it might be weaker for being first, because we don't know or care about Rick at that point, so the tone can seem a bit mean-spirited.

My daughter and I stumbled across this show on hotel cable last week and we were hooked by how healthy the friendships were. The characters' appreciation of each other's qualities and differences, and their comfort with being themselves, come through in a clear and easy way without being preachy.

Recognized him from Time Bandits right away, though I haven't seen it since it hit theaters. Good comedy chops.

Good catch. City of Lost Children and the Diamond Age were pretty important experiences for me then, and Emperor Tomato Ketchup is still tied with Wow and Flutter for my favorite Stereolab
