Everything about this story sounds horrifying. I wonder if the mother really killed herself or was it staged to look like a suicide and they kidnapped her kid? Maybe I watch too much crime tv. Anyway, even if it isn’t this kid, I hope there’s someone in his life who can properly care for him.

Also, how are they so sure that his mother was not, herself, murdered?

Even if they find out the kid isn’t the missing boy I hope he gets the help and care he needs. 

You don’t actually correlate affluence with men objectifying women, do you? Many, many men from *ALL* demographics objectify women. Maybe *how* they do it changes, but affluence is far from causal. E.g. it’s rarely the guys in suits catcalling women in the street.

Some of the shit in the slam book ended up in our yearbook. Imagine that, the nasty things that were said about you, published in a yearbook you paid for without knowing that’d be in it. I’m still angry that the teachers let that garbage in. 

God, seriously. I want to hear WAY more about Julian Castro and Pete Buttigieg too, since both of them seem to have really good heads on their shoulders, and if we’re STILL not ready for a woman president (uggggghhhhh) they seem like good alternatives.

Anita Hill deserves much better in almost any way you can imagine.

He will never give Hill the apology she deserves for three reasons: (1) he’s still shifting the blame to others; (2) an apology is an admission of wrongdoing; and (3) it would alienate him from the so-called “moderates” and “independents” he’s trying to woo.

Can he flame out sooner rather than later? I’m afraid he’ll suck up oxygen that my preferred candidates (Warren and Harris) could be using, and we’ll end up with fucking Sanders.

Wasn’t that also the whole idea behind the early days of Facebook?
