Same here. Really enjoyed the movie, but CGI Tarkin was just creeping me out and not in a good way. It also distracted from Ben Mendelsohn’s Orson Krennic, whom I LOVED.

I really admired the fact that the filmmakers had the guts to literally kill ever major character introduced. I was expecting several characters to die, but not EVERYONE!

I must say that some of the best commentary on this election, youth and women came from not only Teen Vogue, but also other teen/women’s magazines like Glamour and Cosmopolitan. They have really upped their game in the years since I read them (in the early to mid 2000s) as a teen.
