The reason parts for automotive have to be temp rated is because the engine compartment gets quite hot. Tesla doesn’t have that problem, as there’s no ICE under the hood. The battery and power management parts will need cooling, but that’s already designed in.

And if we did watch it, it would be ironically

Don’t you lump us Gen-Xers with old people who watch old people shows! We’re not that old! We’re just middle age :(

1) Because it’s watched by the same boomers who love NCIS and Blue Bloods and The Closer and whatever other milquetoast nonsense appeals to people like my dad.

Extended Universe stories didn’t make Boba popular. They included him because he was already popular.

The movies also refused to call it by its name. You’ll live.

Hard disagree here. Speaking as someone who saw ROTJ in the theatres in 1983 as a 7 year-old, I can tell you that Boba Fett was a very popular character already. I 100% guarantee you that’s because he made a badass toy who killed the shit out of han Solo whenever my sister allowed me to play with them.

Special editions of Star Wars movies? What are you talking about? There’s only the original theatrical releases. They never made any special editions where they made a bunch of unnecessary changes repeatedly over the course of decades.

Yeah, there’s some interesting stuff going on here about fan vs actor vs franchise ownership of characters. Morrison has said he had a good deal of input into Boba’s character as he returned in The Mandalorian, and the whole direction seems to be shaping him into the type of honour-bound warrior who are already all

The main reason people love him is because he has cool armor and he never did anything. He’s a cipher that fans can project whatever they want onto. Any expansion of the character was pretty much guaranteed to make him less cool than whatever their 10 year old minds had created.

Wasn’t this interpoopulateded from The Chiffons?

When that stuff originally aired it sounded alright. The problem is it was recorded on tape which degraded with time and use, leading to the poor quality we remember. It’s especially jarring if all your current memories of Saturday morning cartoons comes from watching Youtube clips which almost all come from

If the movie is reviving old favourites from the 2000s, it should definitely bring back fan favourite Big Pillar Of Light In The Sky for a cameo.

Counterpoint: More big budget musicals.

Far as I’m concerned the 1606 Globe Theatre performance of “Macbeth” is the definitive version and anything else is a superfluous waste of time.
