Mine are on the 2C54 update and when I put them on earlier this week (before learning about the firmware update) it sounded like something was different about them. I wouldn’t say that the ANC was broken — it was just enough of a difference that I kept thinking I either had ANC off or that they just weren’t seated…

Quick question: why has no one mentioned the USCG Healy? It’s not a heavy icebreaker like the Polar Star (and her sister ship), but it’s also the USCG’s newest most advanced icebreaker and the one they most often send up to the arctic. And as far as capabilities go it doesn’t really lag behind the Polars’ icebreaking…
