It’s got nearly 1500 hp, so it should be able to go 290 or 280 at least, and obviously tire technology needs to catch up before cars can go over 260 safely and consistently. But Henessey doesn’t limit their cars, and with the Veyron SS at least…
I think the Kamm tail gets close to the same Cd, but a teardrop shape will always be better. Interesting that in the video below, the tail adds the smallest contribution to the Cd. Shows you how good the Kamm tail in the “design mode” is even before the tail extends...
I agree. Somebody with photoshop skills needs to take off all the crazy aero bits, smooth out all the vents, and show us what the real road-going Chiron might look like. Ready..... Go.
