Worth noting that this intake system was banned after their 1991 le mans win. There is a common misconception that the rotary engine was banned, but this was simply untrue, only the variable length intake system was banned. Without this intake system, the R26B wasn’t competitive enough against its rivals.

F1 cars have to be two years old before the constructors are allowed to do things like that.

Not quite true. The 84-85 GSL-SE was a 6 port motor, and all N/A FC’s were 6 port motors.

Kimi emotionless? No way....

My issues with Alissa Walker had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that she was a woman, and everything to do with all she wrote were car hating opinion pieces that were regularly cross posted to Jalopnik.

This. Alanis, I get from the 47 articles you’ve already posted on the subject, that you don’t like grid girls, or any woman making money from her looks.

Do NOT do this in Japan. You are required to keep your actual passport on you at all times. Using a photocopy can result in you being hauled off to a police station until they can confirm your identity. You can also be held up to two weeks without being charged.

Counterpoint: The e36 M3 might be the worst M3.

Worth noting that the turn signal and wiper stalks are different in UK cars and JDM cars. JDM the indicator stalk is closest to the door, UK is the same as the US layout.

You say, “Right now, an all-wheel-drive Mazda6 is not currently in the works.” Nothing could be further from the truth. You can buy any of the diesel variants of the Mazda 6 with AWD in Japan TODAY.

+1. Keep Buxton!

The FD is a 94 or 95. White wasn’t available in 93, the tachometer is from a 94 or 95. 93 tachometers have more lines between the 500 RPM marks.

“Meschke also said that Porsche’s main interest is in being an engine supplier, not running a full works team like Mercedes or Renault currently do, and to Porsche, a simplified version of the current twin-turbo V6 spec has a lot of appeal.”

TURN SIGNALS!

There is a finite number of wind tunnel hours permitted for all teams. Ferrari cant have any more wind tunnel hours than force india, for example.

TLDR:
Your 90's Honda was slow, and is still slow.

This is a perfect example of why additional head protection in F1 would not have saved Jules Bianchi. The GIF in this article is essentially what happened to him. Head protection wouldn’t have made the slightest difference.

It didn’t look awful, but was awful in every other way.

Handled poorly. Engine was lackluster. Brakes sucked. The steering wheel was not comfortable to hold.

I don’t know how many more times it must be said, but no ammount of head protection would have prevented Bianchi’s death. Stop asking for something that doesn’t actually fix the problem you are complaining about.

Fun fact. The variable length intake trumpets were actually the tech that was banned the year after Mazda won Le Mans.
