Depends if it was gameplay or aesthetic that turned you off. They’re changing very little except QoL for the gameplay. Aesthetic is now much more up to the XC2 standard.
It’s the same game, just with some QoL improvements. The things XC1 and XC2 share in common are phenomenal world design and great OST. Xenoblade 1 is much more simplistic in its combat, setup and customization systems. Xenoblade 2 is much more complicated but also much deeper. It also has more towns. XC1 has a…
This sounds a lot to me like XC1 with some XC2 QoL adjustments, specifically the sidequests. Most of the issues I had with XC1 (still one of my favorite games of all time) was not being able to keep track of sidequests or even know how to do them. I know XC2 also had some issues in this regard but was much better. …
Once in third grade, my father off-handedly mentioned that under the Constitution, we didn’t actually have to stand up and do the Pledge of Allegiance. So me being the third grade dink that I was, the next day I stayed seated for the Pledge at my local private school, and was promptly sent to the pastor and the…
I also looked at the spoilers, because I wanted to know what happens in the game, but also didn’t want to play through it because you’d have to murder perfect pups.
I’m on the side of, who cares that much about the story or ending of a game when the vast majority of the time is spent on the game play? For me games are about the game. When the story is good (and TLOU had an amazing story), it’s just icing on the cake. The thought of not playing a great game because you thought…
“Happy” ending??
I’m on the side of “TL0U” didn’t need a sequel. That ending was perfect as is.
Happy to hear you got a job offer.
Congratulations! And be sure to take copious notes for the mystery series set in the boarding school you will be writing for me.
Congratulations! A job offer is always good, and now it’s a cause for everyone to celebrate. I hope you enjoy the new position.
I don’t really get it either. XII’s plot and execution are nothing special. I was assured by people FOR YEARS that it was genius, but I found it to be a pretty by the numbers game with by the numbers plot. If we’re grading for political intrigue, Tactics wins that battle hands down.
I just left a job from what sounds like a similarly toxic workplace right before things got crazy, took the only offer I could get which fortunately was a good one. Of course, right after I accepted that offer, a new one came in. It was a hard choice to let it go, because I felt the culture might be a better fit, but…
Fingers crossed for you! I know how important is to get away from a bad job.
Hi Jezzies,
Knee-deep in wrassling games, Fire Pro Wrestling World and WWE 2K19. With all the time on my hands, I’m going buck wild downloading created wrestlers.
This is a good list, but listen...
I loved BTS when they toured with The Guess Who in the late 1970s.
First play-through. I don’t have much time to play so it takes me forever to get through games. So I’m usually way behind on games.
