Any word on why PS5 saves can’t be transferred to a USB drive like PS4 saves? Because that just seems like a weird omission.

I’m kind of glad I pre-ordered from Target when it first popped up in September. I might get it a few days later than everyone else, but at least one is on its way (fingers crossed).
*crosses fingers*
Neat. This should be fun. Then again, has there ever been a bad NG+ mode?
This bothers me so much. I mean, I’m going to be able to play the PS4 version of Like a Dragon on the PS5, and the saves will be on the PS5. So why can’t someone pick up with the PS5 version and load the PS4 save on the freaking PS5? I just don’t get it.
Wonder when Fire Emblem Awakening will get a Switch port at this point. Also, can I just vent that I don’t really care for Kotaku’s main page? I have no idea what’s recent and what’s not recent anymore with the new layout. So I just wait a week and come back because at that point it’ll all be new to me.
Oh, just on Twitter with Spectrum to attempt to resolve my connectivity woes. Game wise, just got to act three in Ghost of Tsushima. This remains a very good video game.
I have never done the whistle trick in Breath of the Wild. But I kinda wish Ghost of Tsushima had a similar trick, if only to see Jin running across the island with a flute.
Reading through the comments, it seems like a few folk are upset that Superman is evil. I’m pretty sure that’s because he’s under Brainiac’s control (the big ship seen at the beginning of the trailer). In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire Justice League is under Brainaic’s control, hence Task Force X (a.k.a.…

John Ricciardi is a vulcan, now and forever!
Thanks, Donald!
Yeah, that bullshit is part of the reason I decided to just call it and move to another job. I’m at the part of my life that I don’t need that type of stress in my life. I don’t know what your situation is, but if you’ve got the support system in place to deal with RC, then use it. I didn’t have that here, so off I…
Impending move is seriously impending and I’m starting to feel nervous. Still have to finish packing and shut off the cable and electricity, but the majority of packing is done and mail has been forwarded. So that’s something. It’s just driving between states in the middle of a pandemic that’s really stressing me out…
These days I usually play on the level below normal. I don’t have the time I used to dedicate to gaming, so I’m here for the gameplay and story mostly. Anything to get the experience and save time.
Ah, sorry. Misread that. Thought you meant that standoffs were okay but open combat wasn’t (you mention the camera in your previous post). You mean the follow up attacks after the first stand off. Yeah, for me, the camera swinging to the follow up attacks is what’s causing issues for me.
Time slows down when you switch stances. So after killing one enemy, I’m instinctively pressing R2, swinging the camera around to see who’s closest, and changing to that stance before continuing. It’s pretty nice honestly.
The feet thing definitely works as long as you’re not in tall grass. And the follow up remains consistent for three enemies since the other two will usually be running from the same direction at you. But when you get to the fourth and fifth, the camera rotating and the enemy attacks don’t really line up to the point…
I think it’s mostly breaking defense. But I haven’t upgraded the stances yet, so maybe damage increases later?
It feels like the camera doesn’t do you any favors when it swings to enemies and there’s foliage in the foreground obscuring the attack. That’s part of the reason I gave up on the Sakai armor and went hunting for the Gosaku armor instead.
