Ehh, I don't know if I agree with this. Scotch is still scotch if it's not made in Scotland. A product is defined by what it is, not where it was made. Kind of like saying if I eat a pizza outside of Naples, Italy it wasn't actually a pizza. Anime isn't and shouldn't be defined by geography. This should be especially

Ehhh, but that's not as plainly racist. You could argue that they're just in blackface because they were moors or whatever and I guess brown-face is harder? Well at the very least, the issue is not as blatantly racist. You could say it's not...

Excellent article. Super bizarre how this stuff is somehow okay in Japan.

People bashing the cost of this need to chill. It's a cosmetic item in a free-to-play game. Don't buy it, and keep playing the game for free. It adds absolutely nothing to the core game.

Welcome to Q1 in games. This isn't a new thing, sadly.

Who is this fabulous bastard and why do I not recognize him?

It's only January and this is already the headline of the year.

That seems like a lot of work. People actually do this? Lol

I don't know what's funnier: this comment, or the obituary it would lead to.

You can't please 'em all, Yanni old boy! Very nice article as usual though. I'm surprised the "perfect shield" hasn't been mentioned. It's an invaluable technique.

Gettin deep as fuck in the Kotaku comments secition.

I'll stick with my main, Wii Fit Trainer.

Welcome to Gaming in 2014, where your internet speed doesn't matter and the games are all broken.

I'd like to say, I am more than happy your name is attached right on the article headline. It's good to see in black and white which articles are strictly the opinion of the writer and which are the opinion of Kotaku as a whole. Great for transparency, and great for diversity of articles on the site.

I second this. Played it through a couple of times after getting it free on PlayStation Plus, and concluded I probably would have paid for it if I had to. Stellar game.

The "perfect shield" is an absolutely essential move for advanced play. If you shield and release at the exact moment when you're struck, you recover quick enough to attack/grab much faster than if you had been shielding regularly.

Oh man. I got this on my second or third Blade of Crota kill and had no idea what it was. Nearly trashed it. Lucky!

Do we know if this is Marty O'Donnell or not?

2014: Year of the Ground Pound!

Honestly, compared to other games this year, it's still really really good. Though compared to what it could be, it's crap.
