A pizza joint in northwestern Iowa had one of my favorite pizzas ever made: The Berlin Wall. Sausage (like kielbasa esque sausage, though), green and black olives, sauerkraut and onions on a garlicky crust with just the right touch of tomato sauce.

Haven’t for a number of years now. Happy Joes has always had pickles on their bacon cheeseburger pizzas, though.

That Midwestern pizza is by far the best new pizza they’ve made in years, thanks in part to the strong reliance on pork and corn, two of Iowa’s biggest exports. 

Yes. I have 14 of those things in a kitchen drawer right now. You can’t use them on their online ordering app now, but they still work to give you free pizzas.
