Criticize him all you want. I will too. I've never seen a movie of his in theatre. I'd not think his movies are funny, I do not think he is funny. I didn't even like his early movies, and despised his schtik when he was on SNL.

In the eyes of the studios, that's exactly right. They would rather have a one billion dollar mega hit that is considered the worst movie of all time than a financial dud that is considered one of the best.

I don't see the point of shitting on Sandler. This is a business, and with a few exceptions, Sandler's movies make money. If they didn't then believe me, movie studios wouldn't be so gung ho on financing more of them.
