Yes, you're right, there were no stupid people or assholes in WW2.

How is anyone listening to this? Have y'all got Tidal accounts?

Nah, man, go on Den of Geek.

… good for you?

Don't whatever you do go on the Guardian website.

Painting with leeks? Suck it up and get some brushes!

Tone is a legit genius.

"But then, pop culture left me behind years ago when I reached old age."

Buffalo?

I never thought I'd have cause to write these words: There were dual streams of piss - one main one going into the can on the right, and one much weaker one intermittently going into the one on the left. I have no idea what's wrong with Frank's penis, but it looks like he does need two 'toilets'.

Quite right too.

You know that movie, Young Frankenstein? Scared the hell out of me!

Last time I tried a rimshot I walked away with a sore asshole.

Can these assholes stop bitching about a movie director's opinion of them and get on with their goddamn jobs!?!?

Den of Geek is faaaaar from the standard by which a pop culture blog should be measured.

This place is so over!

Well it depends what elements of reality a film maker wants to reflect. There are no doubt plenty of white construction workers in Texas - why not reflect that? Also, society is massively shaped by the media it consumes, so yeah, the work of a film maker as iconic and respected as Linklater is going to have an impact

I didn't say anything about realism. Do you not think your comment excuses racial stereotyping at all?

Literally every other character is white, so your point is moot.

The choice isn't between an all white cast or a mostly white cast with one hispanic character who owes their current position in life to a white lady. People want representation, which means non-white characters who have agency of their own.
