Sports media, specifically ESPN, are full of blowhards. Oh and #DeadspinForever

I loved Sands of Time.  I could just not get into the sequels.  Most of the parkour and puzzle-solving was removed or minimized to focus on the combat.

HBO...will premiere McMillions

Hhilariously insane true crime stories are something I never tire of.  This one features nobody dying and the criminal getting caught.  Win win.

Jesus Christ, shut up.

“I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

A company that promotes propaganda for a party within the US government that is actively anti woman, LGBT+, and minority ain’t a great place. Shocker. They should not have faced sexual assault for their jobs, but their jobs actively elevate people who cover up sexual assault. Stop trying to pretend leftists think

Peter you may as well just start responding to yourself, since you’re so committed to your own narrative.

He’s clearly saying it’s hard to feel sorry for people that ignore the same plights when it happens to people that are not them.

awwww peter i’m glad you tried though

No I think they’re saying that it’s harder to empathize with people who spent their career pointedly not empathizing with others.

I think that’s part of the answer to the question I’m seeing a lot from friends on FB and Knowledgable People in the Journalism Business: “Why isn’t this film a hit?” Because it’s Fox News and folks are having a hard time separating their feelings about the network from the crimes. No one approves of the harassment

I’ve said this before but my issue with Bombshell is that it’s the story of women who spread propaganda for The Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party for years who got rightfully upset when leopards ate their faces but don’t really care when leopards eat other people’s faces.

Seriously, Kinja on Chrome Mobile is just freaking broken right now. Good thing they killed Deadspin for this.

I’m completely fine with “Palpatine returns” as a plot device, but they didn’t really even bother explaining it aside from a vague reference to cloning. At least in Dark Empire they explained that his consciousness had drifted for several years in the void before he got to Byss, and then when he did, he occupied a youn

Saw it last night. A few thoughts:

All must bow to the Reylo. Even Finn, apparently.

Bringing back Palpatine from the dead makes Anakin’s sacrifice to kill him moot. As reverent and beholden to the past mythology JJ is, this one change shows he has no idea what his fanfiction desires do to the previous text. He’s a hack, the perfect distillation of Hollywood nepotism rewarding mediocrity.

Rey kissing

JJ’s apparent inability to understand how distance and scale works strikes again in this movie.

How does Ben get a classic TIE from the Endor moon to Exegol without a wayfinder or, more importantly, a damn hyperdrive?

It took the work of decades to build the Death Star. Where do these planet killing star destroyers

At first I was like “Yeah, I would like to binge Firefly first, tho” and then I noticed that ain’t Nathan Fillion.
