for a movie whose environments and costumes were intricate to the point of looking far too busy, that dress looks like they just kind of threw it together under and hour.

those are my feelings of Gaston, he just came off as so shallow and boring (and his drive to marry Belle oddly came off as he was the one in closet) that when he was genuinely evil, it just came off as trying to hard.
