I wish I knew that it aired recently, I really want to see it now. Sometimes I don't feel safe in my home because of how religious/anti-progressive my parents are (and how they shamed me back into the closet when I came out to them), even my more liberal-leaning aunt is perfectly fine with religious people denying

from what my cousin says about her Fast and Furious work, she's not good at all.

I found it too goofy when I first heard it in BVS, the movie that had no clue on how not to be goofy when they try to be serious.

I disagree on that, I find it kinda cute since it's something that's never been done in the comics before, and I like the pairing for being kind of cute. The Lego Avengers game handles it much better, forshadowing it through different levels before the AoU levels.

that's what's been taking me from finishing the show, I really don't find it as easy to get into as DD or JJ.

yeah, that's the only part of the movie I really hated, ie Widow's sterilization. The scene made it look like Widow considered herself "a monster" for not being able to have kids. When you have an aunt who couldn't have kids of her own, it comes off a bit hard to watch.

The true face of horror to a certain demographic.

I rather liked Houdini and Doyle, it was a lighthearted affair. I'm rather sad to see it go.

the r-word is far more harmful than any of those words are nowadays, much more hate-filled than those previously listed versions. Why bother with semantics? ableism is wrong, regardless.

the problem is that the r-word is one of the most toxic words to ever be used. You're just trying to make youself "edgy" by using hatespeech and treating anyone not following you as pieces of shit who "just can't take a joke".

Yeah, how dare I get offended when I see ablesim at work. Sorry my pain is just "junk" to you, you intellectual behemoth who is above lesser minds in not being offended at anything and acts like a smug fuckwit whenever someone calls you out on bring a smug fuckwit.

I know, I'm in a fight with a douchebag who keeps using the r-word to mock Fallon and apparently I'm the asshole for not supporting ablesim.

The point is that the OP is using language used to mock mentally disabled people for a cheap insult, like how people use "that's so gay" to insult people.

why the fuck is lipsyncing battle a thing?

Wow, someone's on a high horse.

No time is ever a good time to use the r-word. Wake the fuck up, ableist.

I don't know why people like Barb so much. I guess its kind of how people put personalities in toys and inanimate objects but I don't understand it when it comes to people with no real interesting details (compare Barb to someone like Combustion Man from the Last Airbender).

I can understand that point, only in a slight sense. It would be great if actors with actual disabilities played people with disabilities, more visibility for little people actors, stuff like that.

Switching the genders around isn't going to make this movie less of a rape apologist fantasy movie.

I'm just kind of annoyed at how its not called "Kong of Skull Island" for pedantic grammar reasons.
