On the one hand I like that Networks are taking chances on weird ideas. On the other hand I shiver when the actual idea is so trope-y and derivative. (Me pre-judging the show I know, but ugh cant we get some other type of fantasy creature?)

Nolan for me suffers from Meme-Syndrome. People built up these ideas about him in their head and just seem to run with those ideas. Sometimes it makes them like him outsized to what he does, sometimes its the opposite.

Still have fond memories of the Exam. The written part was like one of my favorite episodes of the show.
