    Actually, X’s base specs are initially very low. Vile even points it out a couple times that he far outclasses X combat-capabilities wise.

    X’s primary purpose is not for battle and therefore he is not to be designated as a “battle robot”.

    Zero is technically a reploid as well, as he is a Robot Master designed by Dr. Wily who only gained human thought processes after getting modified by Dr. Cain, who used X schematics as a basis.

    It may have been called Street Fighter Zero, but the events that take place during it, such as Gouken’s “death”, clearly take place after the first SF.

    They changed the battle system a bit, you still gotta focus on juggling the opponents with combos but it doesn’t get repetitive quite as fast, I’ve played both and I know your pain

    It has less characters and they limit you so that you are usually stuck with 10 teams per chapter

    It’s a love it or hate situation with this game. While I agree that the first game had a nonsensical story and the gameplay was a very watered down strategy game, this one looks to have made progress in improving both of those aspects plus: Mega Man X
