I don’t know, but I know I wouldn’t have cared as long as the movies were good. As far as I’m concerned the only good one is Wonder Woman, and the rest are either okay, or unbearable.

DC and Warner Bros. are doing a fantastic job providing an example of how to royally screw up a cinematic universe.
It’s gonna take some time to get used to looking at the right side of my screen when I’m at the Kinja AVClub.
Man, I haven’t seen an album cover this unappealing since Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo.

This feels wrong. Like a suit that chafes in all the wrong places.
Stop with the reboots, damn it!
What is this? A universe for people who avoid Shyamalan's films?
Yeah, that's what I thought. If I hadn't reviewed the first few episodes of JJ before TD, I imagine I would have been pretty confused as to how that happened.
The jump in the pilot is masked by the editing. You see her winding up for the jump, but the camera pans above her so you don't actually see the complete action. I haven't gotten to the finale again yet so I'll take your word for it since I don't remember much about it beyond the big moments.
In JJ1 she says when asked if she can fly that it's more like jumping. I was rewatching it before getting to this, and I don't believe they ever showed her actually jumping, which led to a bunch of awkward cuts and me to believing you are very, very right.
He only uses the suit 2 or 3 times. It's almost as if they're afraid of putting him in it because he looks kinda goofy being the only Defender not in street clothes.
I think that because the Netflix shows exist in the dark and gritty corner of the MCU, the ninjas just come off across as… Hokey.
I've got homework! And syllabi to get signed!
The Hand still sucks guys.
Ugh, my head hurts from binging this thing. Never again, Netflix. I will never binge again.
It's just hair gel, dude.
All he has to do is accidentally drop a drum stick on a cymbal to get an Oscar if there's a large percentage of Radiohead fans in the Academy.
AVmusic.kinja.com of course! Just don't expect to find anyone talking about it though!
It's almost as if people don't like being within the vicinity of erupting assholes.
