We’re not talking about a fixed hardtop here though, are we? We're talking about a hardtop car that you can turn into a no-top car with the push of a button. If you want a car that you can drive without a roof and it's your only car (like my mum's NC MX-5), then a retractable hardtop makes a lot of sense as it turns

If you live in regions with 4 seasons, a power hardtop is the difference between a frivolous pleasuremobile (actually, that sounds better the more I think about it) and a practical year-rounder which you can park downtown late at night.

I had the first hard top miata, the NC PRHT. Being in NYC I think that helped with the security aspect. I also feel like a car with a soft top just looks strange. It’s like if iron man wore his full suit for protection/armor, but he didn’t have a helmet. Instead he just had a beanie hat.

Here’s another one...

When asked for a reaction, Wendy’s response was:

They likely would’ve gone out of business. Their over promising is what got them all the investor funding they got.

This tells me A) the 4860 batteries have severe cooling issues that cannot be resolved, and B) There will be no 500+ mile CyberTruck like all the Teslastans keep talking about. Also, I’m getting the feeling that Tesla is having a cash flow issue on top of the other production issues from parts shortages.

To gain the environmental dividend that governments are looking for, users are going to have to keep them longer, drive them further than they may have done with a conventional internal combustion energy vehicle.”

Given her extraordinarily stupid take on the situation, I’d say the odds of that being true are nearly 1:1.

I own 11 vehicles. I can easily afford a Tesla. Next time don’t attempt to make dumb insults at people you don’t know.

I wonder if Manner was filming with her face dong hanging out in the air for everyone to see.

Is there any other car community as cult-like as the Muskers?

Peel off the fuel shark sticker and stick on a sticker that says" Q's 5g blocker". Say it will generate counter 6g rays to block out the government's 5g surveillance rays, and you got yourself a amazon best seller.

Excuse me Elizabeth, but this is clearly another short-seller hitpiece on noted philanthropist and Tony Stark-irl equivalent, Elon Musk. I have been assured by numerous people online that he is an amazing and perfect person, and by extension so are his companies.

What I’m baffled by though is the people that ditch PHEV.  It’s a hybrid that can operate in EV only mode for a short range, so where’s the problem?  You still have a gas engine and can take it on road trips.

As someone who actually studies the economic effects of regulations at the microeconomic level, I can tell you that there certainly are examples of the EPA making rules that are “overly strict”. This, however, ain’t it... this isn’t the EPA making up a “nitpicky” rule just to stick it to Tesla... this is Tesla failing

EPA - Everyone's a Pedo Always

What? Tesla being held to long standing laws?  Someone forgot a bribe I think.

Sure but an ICE car will always have the same emissions, whereas an electric car you buy today will be more “green” as the grid goes more green.

“If I wanted to do this in my Hyunda, I could
