Compared to being 8 games under .500 and missing the playoffs in what was actually their best season since 2012-13?  

Well this is the first time injuries have ever played a factor in the NBA playoffs, so this is important to discuss

On one hand, this is clearly unintentional base on the speed, choice of pitch, the body language of the pitcher (dejected, staring at hand), the reaction of the catcher, the score and situation, etc. Ridiculous he was tossed out for throwing at someone.

The number of kids ready to go straight to the NBA from high school is vanishingly small - going back to the rules that let 18-year-old LeBron play won’t change much. But there’s an order of magnitude more “one and done”s, and if they let them into the G League, they’ll make everyone’s lives easier.

Honestly, the NBA just needs to shank the NCAA and let people straight into the G League. Offer four-year in-state tuition scholarships to anyone who washes out and you silence anyone who thinks the kids are being denied an education.

Let’s see, get paid well to play basketball and spend 6 months in Auckland or don’t get paid to play and spend 6 months in Lawrence Kansas ? Seems like a pretty easy decision to me. The idea that this ruined the mornings of Bill Self or Coach K gives me a nice warm feeling inside
