What sort of shortening do you use to make your pie crust? I know some old ladies that make fantastic pie crust, but they kinda swear by lard or the “old” crisco, neither of which I’m into. It seems like butter should work, but my pie crust is never light and flakey like it should be. It’s damn depressing.
