Well, Clockwork Orange and The Shining are amazing for color, and so is Punch Drunk Love. Bergman's color films are gorgeous, especially Cries and Whispers. I was a huge fan Joe Wright's Anna Karenina for the visual aspect/color pallet as well.

you did good to give up on Boardwalk. It was…fine I guess. There were definitley moments of greatness but it's not worth five seasons for those few moments. Ditto Lost. I would never reccomend anyone get into Lost considering the final season is such a mess that it retroactivally dampens the two great seasons that…
