Renoir's The River is one of the most gorgeous Technicolor films. I'd recommend it if you havent seen it.

Well, Clockwork Orange and The Shining are amazing for color, and so is Punch Drunk Love. Bergman's color films are gorgeous, especially Cries and Whispers. I was a huge fan Joe Wright's Anna Karenina for the visual aspect/color pallet as well.

you did good to give up on Boardwalk. It was…fine I guess. There were definitley moments of greatness but it's not worth five seasons for those few moments. Ditto Lost.
