Yes. I was ungreyed quickly on Splinter and the Root. It seems to take eons on Jezebel, and I do not understand why this should be different. 🌷

I pretty much lose my burner key every time I get ungrayed so I’ve kind of given up asking.

The most frustrating thing about the greys is when you see a troll’s comments or a white man’s comments ungreyed with dozens of replies. This is supposed to be a space for women (and allies), but it just doesn’t feel like there’s any space here for me.

This particular commenter has a lot of her comments disappear from the threads. I don’t want to stir anything up about this but she can be problematic and some commenters have accused her of harassment. I haven’t interacted with her much so I can’t speak to that. But that’s probably why some of her stuff is gone.…

Don’t be embarrassed, go at it. I have long been confused over the grays issue and the unfairness of it, thank you for bringing it up.

I think this is a great idea. The gray system may have been necessary to combat the onslaught of porn and torture gifs, but like anything else its caused its own issues over time. This seems like a good way to at least try to get other voices heard.

It seems like so many men think that if they don’t have a burning, all-consuming hatred for women in the forefront of their conscious brains, that this automatically means that they respect women. Like, if they don’t actually think the words “what a fucking cunt” they are okay.

I would like to see some real follow up on that. I have never seen anything other than internet rumors, but from what I understand, the attack was particularly brutal and her mother blamed her for it.

This is how I picture her rejecting those creeps.
