I was crazy invested in the father/son relationship they established between him and Cable, and I loved the idea of Cannonball being groomed as the future leader of the X-Men/mutantkind. I thought it really made sense that he would take the best pieces of the teachings of Chuck, Mags, and Nate and use those to forge…

That might be the best work of Yanick's career. Great art!

I'm a big fan of some of Bru's Batman. Really liked the conclusion of Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive and how there were actual real human emotions that set that whole story into motion.

There were rumors Anthony Hopkins wasn't too hot on Chris Hemsworth either, but he ended up being a great Thor!

To be fair, the change in direction brought in more money with Forever. Obviously, it went too far with B&R.

Awesome to see Patty Jenkins stand up for her movie against this kind of vague smear campaign. I like her more and more!

I still love him from his old Alias days as Will Tippin.

Good week for comics. Here's what I picked up:

I'd advise against it. If we have to say goodbye to Stark, I think audiences would much rather see him get a happy ending at this point.

Robert Downey Jr. is just one example of audience attachment with these films. In addition to him, I also think audiences would have a hard time accepting a new Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow.

Agreed. Red Hood Rebirth was fantastic. Such a good book!

Ha! Sounds like you're describing classic Hulk comics! When will Thunderbolt Ross learn?!

It kind of sounds like the reviewer went into this movie with their mind made up.

The more recent story catching up with Jack in the Box was even better!

No mention of The Vision? For shame!

The only reason I'd pick up All-New Inhumans is Crystal. Would love to see her back with the Avengers.

I haven't been reading Season 10. Did they write Billy off? Still can't believe how annoying that story was in Season 9.

I thought it was really good. These writers are going to dig into these characters. Great discussion about how Barbara wasn't just influenced by Batman, but also by her dad.

It was a big DC week for me:

Here's what I don't get though—Frank Cho's covers for Wonder Woman aren't offensive. I really don't get it. There's nothing salacious about them. She's powerful and tough. I love Rucka, but I don't get what he was so offended by!
