I could see Alan Davis artwork getting you hooked!

You could certainly do a lot worse! :-)
First comic I read: Uncanny X-Men 172 (X-Men in Japan for Wolverine's engagement. Awesome Paul Smith issue!)
First comic I bought: Probably X-Factor (Vol. 1) 51 (X-Factor had just got back to Earth and their ship landed right in the middle of New York. Really the first attempt of Scott's to establish the team as…
I hear you! I love collecting prints and original commissions, but am running out of places to put them! :-)
Hope your day gets better! My list can fluctuate from month to month, but top contenders usually include Justice League, The Vision, and Star Wars.
Excellent episode! Series highlight!
It seems to get better with each issue. It's at its strongest when it focuses on Dusty and the Great Warrior.
I love the last issue of Bruce Wayne Murderer/Fugitive. The villain behind the Bruce's framing really makes sense and the story reinforces the bonds of the Bat-Family and strengthens one character's place in it. Great issue.
I think if there's a book I miss most from the pre-52, it's probably Johns' first run on JSA. I was just reading a few back issues and they were fantastic. I've enjoyed lots of stories in the New 52 (Batman, Grayson, B&R: Eternal, Aquaman, Justice League, and Forever Evil), but restoring a sense of history can only be…
Star-Lord has been his most enjoyable stuff, IMO.
Think about what Hickman could do with Aquaman. That would be some serious world-building!
If they really wanted to make a splash, they'd put Snyder and Capullo on Wonder Woman in 2017. It would really send a message to have your best-selling team on Wonder Woman during the same year her movie comes out.
Pumped! Excited for original numbering returning to Action and Detective. Love that Johns emphasized the idea of legacy. It's definitely the missing ingredient. One thing's for sure, the 80-page set-up book will definitely look great!
No kidding! Someone hasn't been paying attention.
All I know is that it moved at a breakneck pace and was entertaining from start to finish. That's the quickest a 44 minute show has ever gone by for me. If you don't care about the show, let the AV Club find a different reviewer who does have enthusiasm for it.
Have you watched the Sarah Connor Chronicles show? It dealt heavily with the idea that multiple Terminators had been sent back to deal with multiple threats. It's really good TV!
Yep, first Rated R movie I saw in the theater. I thought it was epic!
I don't get the Genesys hate. It's a love letter to the franchise. Fun movie!
B&R Eternal was pretty great. There was the funny return of the "Jim" and "Juan" joke from Grayson. The artwork was also much improved after previous issues!
Is that the issue where Fixit Hulk fights the Grey Gargoyle? That's pretty good if I'm remembering correctly. Doesn't he break his arms off at the end. Fixit Hulk was not a guy to mess with.
