wouldn’t it be weird seeing arms that didn’t do the same as your real arms?

I’m glad to hear it.
Am I correct in that Farpoint is generally designed so you only go forwards, and Resident Evil has slow movement?

Thanks for the input! My first experience with VR was with a Game of Thrones icewall-experience, and it was crazy how different it felt that my view was a couple of inches (or maybe a foot) taller in the virtual world than what I’m used to.

Judging by the VR-footage, It just looked like a slightly degraded Skyrim with

That makes sense, but also kinda defeats the purpose?

Right. I’m not just talking small bouts of action, though. I’m talking sitting down and playing Skyrim for a long time. Where you as a person are sitting down, while your character runs around and does magics and stuff. Skyrim isn’t well suited (in my opinion) for shot, bite-sized sessions of gameplay.

The bit about

Oh god. They might be able to pull it off, but I do NOT think Skyrim will make a good VR game. Headaches and nausea galore.

I’m pretty sure there’s a good reason that the industry standard of moving in VR has become teleporting.

That seemeth mightily like the bible. I’s a christian offshoot cult.

From what I’ve seen, the gangs from the first game are back, with dynamic stuff happening as you take out bosses and underbosses, which I’m really excited about.

“Infinite possibilities for environmental destruction made Crackdown 2 a sensation.”

“During the footage, we saw the main character jet around on his suit”

Comey came to a public hearing. He was prepared, spoke calmly, was respectful, and didn’t use the opportunity to be a jerk. In addition, all his comments made sense, and seemed to reflect reality.

So, more like xbox game pass then?

Back when I played CoD, I noticed that all friendly crates were always green, and all enemy crates were always red. Letting spectators choose what colors they will see the teams as seems like a no-brainer to me, but I’ve still yet to see it in an esport :-/

Yeah, I completely agree.

Games like LoL and DOTA have huge crowds, and I am absolutely convinced that the viewing experience itself, and not just the game, is the biggest factor.

If Overwatch had an arena specifically designed with an audience in mind, and could somehow work in top-down cameras like in those games

Spectator tools aren’t necessarily easy, though.
Rainbow Six Siege has pretty good tools, but spectating has been built into the game, with viewers given a top-down view, outlines of players in distinct colors for both teams, and roofs/floors that are completely transparent to the viewer.

If those kinds of functions

Yeah I don’t believe or think that COD will stop being an FPS juggernaut anytime soon, but I don’t get the zombie fetish. Particularly when they have this sincerelooking pr spiel about authenticity and the impact of the war itself.

WHY MUST THE CO-OP CAMPAIGN HAVE FUCKING ZOMBIES?

“In fact, subconsciously, people value things they put effort into and pay for. “

No.

It would possibly be a wonderful world if this was true, but just no. While people can and do value things they put effort into and pay for, people ALSO value things they get for free, things they do while being treated well, things

Game mechanics can’t be copyrighted as far as I’m aware, but names and lore can be.

Opinion that 95% of ME3 was in fact great.
Attempt at hyping ME:A in order to not feel alone.
