Mass Effect Andromeda isn’t going for photorealism when it comes to humans. That’s what made me react initially, but it was welcome after getting a bit of alien interaction and seeing how well all the aliens, including humans, fit together.

In my opinion.

I want to point out that Ubisofts latest AAA titles have all had open “betas” right before launch.

They’ve also sold shittons.

Combined with EA’s early access deal, it’s possible to see it as a trend, at least for big games, to continue with something like that instead of demos.

Interesting fact; this shows up as a “play anywhere” game on the xbox store, meaning you get the game for both pc and xbox 1 when yo buy it, and should be able to transfer saves. I think that’s a first for a game not published by Microsoft.

I disagree with your claim that Pixar movies look generic. Could you explain exactly what you mean by that?

Ratchet and clank is colorful and exaggerrated, but they are still distinctive from one another, yes?

It does. Can you name any other games that does that?

It wasnt the setting. It largely startet with a clihcéd, super-generic trailer jusr as battlefields most intriguind one had been released. In comparison, one looked like Spielberg, and one looked like Uwe Boll.

Wow. I don’t own it, so I can’t check, but I take your word for it. That’s absolutely crazy. There HAS to be a bunch of unnecessary stuff there, like character models copied with textures, for.. some reason

What? 600MB?
For saves??
What?

The small ship is an NPC. Sometimes you get pulled out of FTL by pirates or Bounty Hunters. When the ship systems fail and power goes out, there’s a moment where the player can think that their power supply have been damaged, and the culprit is the NPC.

But, since the power is completely out, the player can’t reboot

No, they have slowly been teased. No one knew when they would appeared. A lot of people, myself included, thought it would be some big event after multi-player crews and moving around with your character was introduced.

Watching that clip gave me chills. Real good ones, too :)

I wasn’t sold on this idea until the cast interview on Jimmy Kimmel. It makes a lot of sense. When asked about the menace of Darth Vader, Diego Luna goes on about how scary it was being near Vader and just hearing his breathing. I thought it was super weird, since I had already seen the movie, and Luna’s character

Thank you do much for the insight!

“It’s Grambling’s 15th black college football national championship”

I’m sorry, but I need something explained. I’m from Norway, and I don’t understand that sentence.

USA has a black championship?

“There’s precious little projected on contemporary cinema screens that means a great deal to my life, if truth be told.”

You still didn’t counter the point you quoted.

Shukougeki No Souma (is that spelled correctly?) is at my limits. I don’t know what it’s called in English, but it’s an anime with focus on cooking, and a young student/genius chef named Souma.

It’s a fun show, and the focus on food, and lifting up cooking skills to to be displayed in a way that borders on the

“It’s also a compromise, being that the stick cannot move at a consistent pace. “

Wrong. A controller is objectively more consistent in it’s turning rate because it’s a joystick. Mice and joysticks can both have different sensitivities at different levels, but once you stop tilting
