From a level design perspective, i agree wholeheartedly. It’ll be really interesting to see how they utilize the space, and what kind of feelings it will bring.

Please excuse my earlier glaringly obvious spelling errors. mobile phones and comments do not agree with my thumb.

Yes, you know what, I should have used different words.

This is Team Ninja, of Ninja Gaiden fame. They’re not trying to copy dark souls, as much of doing Ninja Gaiden in a Dark Souls-tempo.

Even now their combat looks more polished than any of the dark soul games. But please don’t judge it for whether or not it looks like dark souls.

What?

the uwp is a universal system where the same exact game can be played on xbox one, pc, and mobile (depending on the game andhardware specs)

not different versions. the same software.

uwp games, if you want cross-platform, comes through thewindowsstore.

microsoft provides tools to get your games on other platforms as well, like android and ios.

no idea if they restrict sales on steam. not seen evidence they would. yet.

“Microsoft’s store would make it so games made for the new Windows platform could only be bought and played through the Windows Store.”

nope. read the link from phil spencer,

you should read the link phil spencer tweeted in this article to learn that you are misinformed. microsoft is working towards the exact opposite.

but microsoft aren’t, though. they even provide tools for people to get their windows 10 mobile games out on ios and android.

“Rolf I’m glad gaming titles have finally been reduced to their absolute basic so you can finally understand them.”

I have never at any point neither said nor insinuated that I didn’t understand game titles. That’s not what this is about, you absolute tool, and you know it. This is about a certain type of first person

I kind of like how “Game Title: Descriptive Adjective Warfare” has become a genre naming convention. As a genre descriptor it’s so much more precise than “multiplayer FPS” and lets me know what kind of game it is.

I know this may read as sarcasm, but it isn’t. I genuinely like it.

“Ergo, anyone who plays games is a gamer, and those who play lots of them are hardcore gamers”

Not entirely accurate. People can play few games obsessively and be “Gamers”.

I play a lot of games, but I’m not as hardcore as someone using hours every day on Farmville.

The Division has been in Beta for WAY longer than the short, public closed and open betas (and the alpha, which I was fortunate enough to get access to)

Due to the nature of the different games, Overwatch NEEDS to be playtested the shit out of as it is an arena-shooter with thousands of possible combinations of teams

I’ll be the asshole:

Bandwidth caps? On home internet? What savages has bandwidth caps outside of mobile data traffic any more?

Sincerely, a Norwegian who are aware of his luck in the draw of birth-country, and wishes for places like the US to catch up.

Sure it’s nitpicky, but it’s still correct.

Early access is a term that among other things encompasses paid betas. It is not exclusively used by Steam, as you imply.

Steam Early Access is brand marketing.

EA is a game publisher.

Taken in context, by a knowledgeable individual, people would know what you meant, that I

Wrong.

Steam Early Access is called exactly that.

I pointed out that the game obviously was early access, because having early access, whether the game is in beta or not, is literally what paying into a beta does.

You didn’t write Steam Early Access, you wrote early access. One of them is a corporate brand for games in

No, it’s VERY much inspired by the xbox controller.
But they moved the stick and buttons to get more space for the dual touch pads.

Are you fucking kidding me!?!?! from the update the developers posted:
“Twitch Integration! Bet on fights!

buying into beta and early access are one and the same.

Still was the best co-op game in the series :)
