These AMC were antiques when they were new, but... they were build like brick shithouses and those engines were indomitable. It doesn't really strike me as an unlikely racer, despite how ugly they were - and they were terribly ugly. Would I pick an AMC to go racing, mmmm—-not my first pick, but it was hard to ignore…

You must not have any kids! Try buying a toy that isn't made in China today and see how much it costs - meaning not as cheap as you think, and it's all shit quality.
