That's cool and all! BUT!!! Some answers lye with simplicity. Old Top Gear USA using an old rabbit and a less old VW Diesel engine. 84 MPG for 7 large. Not all problems are solved with complicated and expensive technology. Either way it's a fun watch!
Cool stuff! Made me think of this.
I'd rather see them do this with it!
Ahhh! good topic this one. I nominate this older video of a 1000 + hp twin turbo Buick GN that cries havoc on the dyno. By the way, are cars supposed to smoke the tires on a dyno at full throttle??? I didn't think so.

Say what you will Travis, but I love my 2010 Highlander. It accelerates harder than any car I've ever owned, including my 91' 190E 2.6 and 99' Impreza RS. If people think its boring than good for me, I wont worry about it attracting undue attention on the highway or in a parking lot.
The death of the plain, bare bones, cheap but good quality, simple new car. Basically, if it has power windows and an automatic transmission, it doesn't meet my criteria.
Do You See The Light???
Caraaaaack Piiiiipe!
I agree with Gennnaro, it's an Alfa Romeo Giulia.
You know I don't chime in all that often, but I am compelled to say something when I see incidents like this simply because it terrifies the hell out of me to think this could have been someone I know or even my wife and kids. Ill keep it simple. If you can afford to modify your car, or even buy one for that matter,…
Not a bad looking car.... after all.
Well slap a set of red horns and a pitch fork on me, were done here!
Sports cars is the DEVIL!!!
Buhbye! it was nice knowing ya!
Bluuuhhhhh!
I'm thinkin.... an old delivery van with Cadillac quarter panels fastened on.
I couldn't even finish watching, laughable!
Yes that occurred only to me after the fact, so I will amend my vote to include The Audi substitute Subaru WRX for the simple reason that they are plentiful, capable and reasonably good on gas.
