Hey, I would love to be more specific about what type of ban Destiny received, but after reaching out to the devs and to Destiny, I did not receive clarification. My guess is that this is a soft ban, like what Dr. Disrespect received. But because the screen says “banned,” we’ll have to go with that for now.

Why is this newsworthy? Runs live and die by the strangest bits of happenstance all the time. It’s a little humorous, but this case doesn’t seem especially heartbreaking or surprising.

What about the vast majority of opponents who aren’t sniping, who are effectively playing against a professional player backed by a hivemind viewerbase? These players have no choice, whereas the streamer is clearly choosing to stream in real-time.

I loved that the game basically frowned against cover based shooting. Like if you weren’t running and gunning around the map you’d tended to die a lot more often. Also by far, the Submarine level was my favorite.
