I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for this, but... When I switched to a whole-foods, plant based diet (for health reasons), I found that I could eat until I was stuffed and I would still lose weight. Avoid any processed items like soy burgers and other plant-based substitutes. All in all I dropped about 50lbs
