Jim Sterling did a great video about this recently that I felt touched upon the Dexit issue really well.

This is a bad take. It’s cool that you’re pumped to see Jolteon and Hitmonlee and Rhydon roaming around the wild area. It is equally cool for someone to be upset that they don’t see Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Beedrill roaming around. I see a lot of these pieces that are framed like “Well you would never catch all 900+…
Counterpoint. No.
If you don’t plan on turning off the EXP share, trading online, or using all the Pokémon in the series then it’ll probably be an enjoyable game.
Of course this isn’t out in the US. Americans can’t afford ambulances.
Exactly this. Kotaku. You love video games. Don’t post about these. They get shut down within the day when you do.
This article was posted 3 minutes ago, which means Luo should receive his cease and desist from Nintendo and the Pokemon Company in a little under an hour.
It's more than just a port, actually. There's a ton of new content. More HMs, a whole 9 extra gear tiers, more fights, the online half, which itself has a ton more fights, and the story plays out differently, with the 3ds one baiting you with Nightmare as the main antagonist, before switching to a different antagonist…
It’s not a port. It’s literally on the engine of Kirby Star Allies, which is different than the 3DS games for obvious reasons.

Oh, sorry for the confusion. All of them have basic attacks plus special class-defining stuff like healing or slowing .
I like how the game is the standard microtransaction stuff, but it effectively “unlocks” after spending a certain amount of money. 40€ and you never have to worry about gems again.
I don’t like microtransactions, but if we can’t get rid of them, this is an acceptable compromise for me. Though it’s up to personal taste…
It does follow the Nintendo formula of having a “max” cost, similar to Pokemon Picross. If you ever spend $40 total on the game, your tree will harvest 2,000 apples per harvest, essentially covering everything from Stamina, to unlocks and more.
I only play for little spurts at a time, usually after a 24 hr break since the previous session, so I don’t get that burnt out from it.
Free to start is in fact the exact opposite of free to play, and Nintendo are right to acknowledge that. Free to start means "you cannot play this without microtransactions". Did you miss the last ten years in the industry, when literally everyone got angry about people saying "free to play" when they meant "can't be…
So, they used the 3DS models and now arent even going to have all of the pokemon? So it's going to look weird and dated for no real reason? That's even more disappointing.
If their systems were ever going to catch these mons as genned, they would immediately have and not allowed it onto Wonder Trade in the first place. That is, after all, the whole point of the “checks”.
People dump insane ‘Mons in Wonder Trade nonstop. My first week playing I got a 6IV Shiny Silvally in WT. Two weeks later a Shiny 6IV Ditto from Spain. I know that these are obviously hacked.
Or...in the Pokemon world humans literally needed to evolve superhuman capabilities out of sheer necessity to survive in a world full of dangerous monsters. In fact Humans seemed to have evolved so much that they now seem to dominate those dangerous monsters.
No wonder he thought he could just straight up punch Mewtwo for being a dick.
