“That’s the way it’s always been” is the worst possible reason for anything.

“Browser has been kidnapping Peach since the 80's”

My favorite part of Trump not being able to book anyone is his tweet about “I don’t want any A list celebrities to come!” Do you think he realizes that he tacitly told the bums who are actually willing to perform for him that they’re bums! “I don’t want popular, famous people! These losers are good enough!”

I hope they do “Springtime for Hitler.”

Yeah, that is my beef with these people. At least if somebody is adamantly pro-life, I get WHY they voted for Trump and Pence. I can disagree strongly, but I can at least get why they went how they did. This is just an epic level of ignorance. Even if you watched a single debate, you knew that the GOP was hostile to

Hell, PENCE would have told them. Pence never hid his anti-abortion views in the slightest. Hell, it was a point of pride for him. The only way you could not realize any of this is if you never, ever paid attention.

But don’t forget that some states, like Alabama, made it very difficult for people to get IDs. In their case, due to “budget reasons”, they closed all but two or three DMVs in the state. Meaning that some people had to drive up to four hours each way on a weekday to get a license/ID. That’s incredibly

As far as I can tell, this move is a violation of the Commerce Clause and is therefore unconstitutional. The Feds have no authority to ban interstate commerce when using perfectly valid State identification. They also don’t have the authority to tell States what qualifies as valid identification.

It’s not the idea of IDs for voters. It’s the implementation of getting an ID. If you’re able-bodied, of means, and know where your birth certificate is, the idea of getting an ID seems pretty easy and reasonable.

I agree with you, the licensing process is only as good as the dumbest DMV employee(s) handling your paperwork. For me it was Connecticut DMV employee and her supervisor wouldn’t accept my New Mexico license as valid ID until another person in line showed them a road atlas of the United States.

Typically voter id laws dont allow the free ids and only accept those at a cost such as drivers license or passport. NC is a good example of this.

Generally, the problem is that no one requires them for voting until right before an election, and no one offers to provide help to the people trying to get an ID but don’t have the resources. It’s not a solution addressing any real problem, it’s a transparent ploy to prevent a certain demographic from voting

Until you provide them for free and not make people take a day off work, travel 40 miles to the nearest country court house, and pay $50 or more for it. Then the Republicans “loose” their minds.

My favorite:

He COULD... but he’s rich for a reason. xD

I read all documents in Snoop’s voice unless otherwise indicated.

since he cant sell burgers at his restaurant and can’t sell his steaks at sharper image, he has to take his beef to twitter.

Good read, but I wish the whole of Kofi’s excellent explanation was posted or linked to:
