This isn’t the case - diesel and gasoline/petrol will mix quite readily. It’s an old truckers trick to cut diesel with gasoline when the temperatures drop to -40, to enable the fuel to flow and not gel.

You can make racing affordable, or time efficient, but not both. You have to stand outside in the hot sun all day at an autocross because you aren’t paying for workers. You have to sit around at an HPDE or be stuck behind slow drivers because you aren’t paying for a track rental, so they have to allow a ton of people…
