Have you heard about the Irish referendum on abortion?

Jordan Petersen is being disingenuous when he uses the term “ enforced monogamy”. He is using an academic/anthropological term which the majority of readers won’t be aware of. They hear the term “enforced” and think “ Handmaid’s Tale”, not surprisingly.

I was reading an article on the Huffington Post titled “Why Men Don’t Listen” by Dr Robert Leahy.

Me Too.

Just remember not to watch anything these guys are in and encourage others not to; it’s the only language they’ll understand. I saw “Ozark” with Jason Bateman, won’t be watching a second series, that’s for sure.

Because they don’t go postal, that’s why. But if they did, no one would be talking about “enforced monogamy”, it’d be “kill that b—-h!”

Selin is me.

Their denial sounds like a dog whistle to me. They’re certainly hoping to get the MRA on board with this title.

Well Rachel Weisz would say that wouldn’t she? She’s married to the current James Bond (and expecting his baby).

There was a film with Ryan Gosling called: “Only God Forgives”. When it comes to “himpathy”, “Only Women and Minorities Forgive” or are required to. You expect white men to be angry and vengeful of course.

Why is there so much resistance to enthusiastic consent?

Fantastic post Nora. A lot of what I’ve often felt, but never quite articulated.

Because men are bigger and stronger and often a downright/direct refusal just stokes up a guy’s anger.

Now playing

This guy offers tips on gaining enthusiastic consent and keeping it sexy, not clinical.

Oh dear. How precise are you male clients and colleagues?

She was clear. He just didn’t want to hear what she was saying.

It’s clear. Men pretend they don’t understand when they don’t like the answer.

Yeah, so do I, especially when my explicit requests are ignored.

So you can decide with your gut and intuition? Why?
