Finding work where you can find it and finding an affordable & safe place to live isn’t much of a choice for people. What an outrageously entitled and presumptuous statement to make based on what is no doubt a minuscule sample of wherever you live.

While you may be correct, development of US cities in already in a pretty advanced state, so if your solution is redesigning cities, you don’t have a solution. We need to identify solutions that fit within the reality of the United States.
Exactly. Whacko extremists on the same side of the global warming battle can’t relax with their non-fact based obsessions to allow for actually solving the problem.

We can talk UBI when automation results in a 10% or more unemployment rate. Until then, focus on getting a job that isn’t obsolete.
Yeah, I want a liberal arts grad that couldn’t even make a decision on a major making societal decisions as a whole.
Good idea. From an engineering perspective, all that’s required to swap a car designed from the ground up to be RWD to AWD is skipping the front wheels during assembly, then running it through the line a second time backwards.
The fact your point, which is a great point, is getting bombed shows how ignorant most of the people here are; or how ridiculously eager angry 20-something year old hatchback drivers are to be contrarian. Fact is there is a stigma associated with distracted driving, where as pedestrians are HIGHLY likely to be on…
Clearly the future is pickup trucks driving around with propane tanks. Good example.
Anyone with an MBA or higher making less than $90k (being conservative on that low end) is either a terrible negotiator or on year 1-3 of their career.

I’m a dude. I do dude stuff. 99% of the music I listen to is thrash metal or harder....but this song absolutely rocks.
Easy there, captain hyperbole. There are probably more people in the US that think they are vampires than there are individuals that are legitimate neo-nazis. And your eco-nazis actually influence public debate, where as neo-nazis are fodder evening news.
It’s not a very compelling reason at all to the 50% of US households with a household income < $59k/year. Efficiency, ease of use and affordability are compelling reasons, not being a hero for all of your social media friends.
