Which one of your Rubies is your favorite? Mine's Ruby, but Ruby's alright too.

As far as the movies are concerned, the kids seem to defer to him out of genuine respect, not just because he's an adult and thus an authority figure. It's that old adage that kids want to be talked to like adults even if they actually aren't.

In fairness to "Deadpool", Wade Wilson himself is the only quippy character. Colossus is too earnest and Negasonic is too sullen, so it balances out.

My only real criticism is that some of the quips fall flat when EVERYONE is super quippy.

Coldest line ever in a superhero movie? "I agree with everything you said…but unfortunately you killed my mother."

Side note: I also liked that Jackman's Wolverine can still bury his violent instincts enough to watch after the kids and be an effective role model to them in his own way. His one scene with Iceman in X2 is one of my favorites.

A veritable speedball of early 2000's schlock.

Which, if I can say, is unfair to the actors. Ideally you write for the actor or the character so they come off best, not just turn everyone in the vicinity into a magical pithy quip machine.

Yea the question to me becomes "How the hell DO you deliver either of those lines convincingly??"

I don't look at Whedon as a geek god like some do, but he at least tries to make a good creative product. That said, he's had a tendency to blame others when projects he's involved in don't work out, and I just find that distasteful. To his credit, he's been diplomatic about the mixed reception to "Age of Ultron" (it

I just want Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in "Infinity War." Other than that, I'll live.

That's like asking if you like cake or pie. They're different but both are delicious.

"The Last Stand" is perhaps the most offensive of the films (it basically gives a middle finger to the characters we've grown to like over two movies) but "Wolverine Origins" commits a sin I feel too many bad superhero films do: setting things up for potential sequels rather than trying to make a good film that stands

They thought it was too over-the-top, but that's personally why I loved it, because it was over-the-top but still fun.

Quality of the movie aside, Dan Aykroyd also believes that aliens aren't contacting us because of 9/11.

"I hated my father." Pure gold there.

"Camp Pining Hearts" Season 5 really is the worst. They all pack up and move to the big city? Then move back to the camp in Season 6? Lame!

Yea and they all moved from Canada to Los Angeles, and Percy left the show so it was just Pierre…it was a mess.

Lapis can't stay here! How are we going to explain this to Mr. Roeper?

Before he just looked old and grumpy. Now he just looks sinister.
