I think the part of the show that irritates me most is whenever his posh friends show up and are dicks to him though. It just seems like the same plot over and over again, although often with reasonably funny results.

I thought Josie was pretty pathetic in the first season as well! Remember how she got engaged because she just couldn't say no? As a teen girl who also can't say no, I was totally on board with that, but I totally understand how even slightly assertive people could find her boring and pretty lame.
