I don't quite know what to make of Cersei's… niceness, I guess? She was being mild and understanding toward Margaery, but I wasn't sure if it was a ruse (and if so, to what end) or genuine (and if so, why). The visual TV grammar and the actor's emoting seemed at cross purposes (which made it all very interesting).

I'd even say number four should be counted twice: once for the way M establishes that T is hers (via sex) and no longer C's, and once more for calling C a grandmother and therefore old.

And a future sequel would have been Silent Hills vs. Babbling Brooks.

The one about the hair was pretty good. "It's about 85% white now, white enough to talk back to cops."

Voted "Most likely to blame the buzzer."

That "What!" near the end was awesome.

Nominative determinism would suggest that, somehow, he'll place fifth.

That I know of, there's no connection in nature between penguins and umbrellas :) so I had to look it up:

Just him and his novelty umbrellas.

Thanks for replying! Yeah, that was a pretty awesome scene with the frog.

Now I only need to get BONGed and "OF COCK!"ed and that's a bingo!

Could you elaborate a little please? I watched the first two episodes of season one and couldn't quite get into it. Has something changed? What are the fun parts? (This probably reads snide but I'm non-snarkily asking.)

I am not familiar with everyone on that list, but I'm guessing Penn Jillette is something of a ringer.

I think I missed the news about "Revenge"; if someone could offer a link or "recap" the cancellation (and Stowe's departure, if related). I stopped watching a while back, but I thought it was doing well!

The captain at one point was sitting in his chair in a Picard-like pose: leaning back on one elbow like a bored but alert salamander. Loved it.

Helvetico-American. (The no-longer-neutral Switzerland.)

Agreed on all points.

I sort of let the show wash over me; I can't imagine what someone heavily invested in, say, the subplot about Philip and Kimmy would make of this finale. And Martha! And that whole overly-complicated thing with the dude to whom Philip said "I feel crummy all the time." And the rescue of Nina. People on these boards
