I disagree, i think it shows that he was extremely emotionally invested in something that he didn’t get to make and probably feels like it was taken from him, i don’t blame him for not being able to watch it and totally get the analogy.

Hi Evan, i thought I’d better qualify my previous request for a spoiler alert, I’m viewing the series from the UK we’re only on episode 4 at the moment, please can you put a spoiler alert at the top of this article as it has a few spoilers that stopped me reading it in full, ta!!
I was thinking exactly the same as this so was really interested to read your take on it, i’m halfway through the series and thought i’d be OK to read this as there wasn’t a spoiler warning, but I’ve had to stop halfway as there are spoilers!
That’s the thing, old Dr who was all about series long story arcs, at least all the ones i remember from my childhood were (Baker, Davidson, Baker, McCoy) it’s only nu-who that seems to be different, though i slowed down with nu-who after tennent and haven’t seen a single Capaldi.
